Supplier Engagement Overview

Updated today

What is Supplier Management?

Terrascope’s new Supplier Engagement (Supplier Portal) feature is a dedicated workspace that helps reporting companies collect high‑quality, supplier‑specific emissions data (CCF and PCF*), turn it into supplier‑specific emission factors, and use this data to improve your organization’s CCF** measurement and decarbonisation planning

*Currently, the platform supports the collection of suppliers’ pre-calculated CCF. This means suppliers have already measured their CCF across Scopes 1, 2, and 3, including all relevant categories, and have corresponding emission data readily available. The functionality to collect suppliers’ business activity data through Terrascope and to calculate the PCF and CCF directly within the platform is currently under development, and will be available soon.

**The capability to integrate collected supplier emission footprints into your organization’s overall carbon footprint is currently under development and will be available soon.

Platform Overview of Supplier Management

Supplier Engagement on the Terrascope platform lets you invite suppliers, onboard them into the Supplier Engagement portal, assign emission reporting tasks, and monitor their progress and the submitted data through dedicated dashboards.

Supplier Engagement is designed to support GHG measurement by:

  • Uploading and managing suppliers in a dedicated supplier list.

  • Inviting suppliers into the Terrascope platform and tracking invite/onboarding status.

  • Creating measurement campaigns to streamline the collection of emission or business activity data (e.g. pre‑calculated CCF, PCF) from suppliers

  • Allowing suppliers to submit data, and enabling Carbon Managers and/or Project Managers to review and accept or request changes with friction-less manner.

  • Providing dashboards for emission results and task progress across suppliers.
