What is EULA?

An End User License Agreement (EULA) is a standard agreement that grants an umbrella license that must be accepted by an individual (account holder) who has been granted access to the Terrascope ‘Measure and Manage’ platform because the organisation the account holder represents, works for, or is associated with, has contracted with Terrascope to use the Terrascope platform.

It is important that all authorised individuals carefully read and understand the EULA before accessing the platform.

Do I have to agree to the EULA before using the platform or service?

Yes, you must agree to the EULA to use the platform or service.

Do I have to accept the EULA each time I log in?

No, you only need to accept the EULA once—when you log in to the platform for the first time.

From time-to-time there may be changes to the EULA, and you will be required to accept the updated EULA before you are able to continue using the platform. Reasons for updates are varied and include but is not limited to the following reasons:

  • Your organisation has requested additional third-party emission factor databases or other key third-party data or services to be made available through the platform;

  • Third-party emission factor data providers, or other key third-party service providers who have made available their data or services through the Terrascope platform have imposed changes to their licensing terms as a condition of using their respective data or services;

  • We are required to make changes due to changes in applicable law or regulation; or

  • We have made changes to, or included additional products, features, or functionalities to the Terrascope platform.

Does the EULA affect my organisation’s Terrascope subscription?

No, the EULA is specific to the individual authorised user. However, to the extent that you believe there is an inconsistency between the EULA and the terms signed by your organisation with us, please contact our customer support team (see below).

Where can I find the EULA?

You will receive an email update whenever there are changes to the EULA. In addition, the EULA will also be available on the platform upon login for easy reference. Just head over to Settings > Legal and you’ll find a link to Terrascope's End User License Agreement.

Who do I contact if I have further questions concerning the EULA?
