Activity-based EFs

Activity-based emission factors are based on specific activities or processes that cause GHG emissions. For instance, an emission factor for transportation may be calculated based on the the distance traveled or the amount of fuel used. Therefore, activity-based emission factors are usually more precise, but need detailed data and analysis.
